Deltarune Chapter 4 – Youtube Thumbnail Illustration

Fan artwork inspired by Deltarune, created to capture the tension and mystery surrounding the events of Chapter 4. The composition centers on the contrast between the protagonists and the looming antagonist behind them, using scale, lighting, and pose design to establish a clear visual hierarchy and sense of narrative conflict.

I wanted the central heart motif to act as both a focal point and a symbolic representation of determination and player agency, while the surrounding characters communicate different emotional responses to the unfolding situation. The strong contrast between bright highlights and dark silhouettes was used to reinforce the game's distinctive visual identity while adapting it into my own illustration style.

This piece was also an exercise in multi-character composition, balancing several figures within a single image while maintaining readability and directing the viewer's attention toward the center of the scene.
