Enraptured Cover Thumbnail

A horror-themed illustration and thumbnail project centered around atmosphere, mystery, and environmental storytelling. The concept explores an otherworldly presence emerging from an unknown abyss, using color contrast and silhouette to create a sense of unease while withholding many visual details from the viewer.

The project was built around a limited palette of deep reds and bright cyan highlights. The intense contrast between the warm environment and the cool bioluminescent elements was used to draw attention toward the creature while reinforcing its unnatural nature. Rather than relying on explicit detail, I focused on shape language, lighting, and negative space to create tension and encourage the viewer's imagination to fill in the gaps.

The accompanying thumbnail adapts the concept into a more graphic presentation, combining environmental design, typography, and composition to create a strong visual focal point while maintaining the unsettling atmosphere established by the original illustration.
