Bendy and the Ink Machine - Youtube Thumbnail Illustration

Group illustration featuring a collection of original and existing characters inspired by Bendy and the Ink Machine. The goal of this piece was to explore how original character designs could be adapted to fit the visual language and atmosphere of the game's ink-soaked world while remaining recognizable and distinct.

I focused heavily on silhouette, expression, and shape language to ensure each character retained their individual personality despite sharing a limited color palette and common visual motifs. The warm gold lighting and heavy ink effects were used to unify the cast while recreating the unsettling yet playful aesthetic associated with the source material.

This project also served as an exercise in multi-character composition, balancing six figures within a single illustration while maintaining clear focal points and visual hierarchy. Special attention was given to the contrast between the cheerful cartoon elements and the darker horror themes present throughout the franchise.
